Photoshopped Amsterdam Street

Photoshopped Amsterdam Street

Photoshop, tutorial 1, 26/11/2013

Folded paper effect, excellent effect if you can find the right photograph, although this is probably better suited to Menu/Map graphics.

Very well explained, thorough and clear step by steps

Hot air balloon shadow

Hot air balloon shadow

Photo taken July 2013 with Nikon N1

Taken while drinking and camping in Bodiam, east Sussex

To be honest I have absolutely no idea how I managed to pull this one off, being so tipsy all afternoon. Love the way the hot air balloon is floating away into the shinning sun set. Plus I am also very amazed at how the sun shine has tried to take out every last bit of colour out of the sky.

To the Newquay beach

To the Newquay beach

Photo taken June 2013 with Nikon N1

Shot on top of the the truly magnificent cliff tops of Lusty Glaze, Newquay, Cornwall.

I just love the texture of the blue created by the sky in the shot, it perfectly highlighting the darker blue in the sign, putting it in a dominant position in the picture.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam

10/11/2013 - 12/11/2013

Surreal moments in beautiful surroundings.....

There are 88 canals in Amsterdam, try saying this in Dutch, what a tongue twister! but honestly there are so many canals, so many opportunities for a picture.

What a beautiful city, no wonder my friend visits at least once a year, or could that be due to the hundreds of coffee shops with extremely potent smells coming out of them....

Be very careful of the cyclist, they are not afraid to run you down if you are in the way. When crossing the road, 1st look out for bikes, then cars, then the trams......

Cheese shops all over the place
Van gosh was inspiring
Anne frank made me sad
No specific Dutch cuisine
Very impressed so many Dutch Speak English. Is the due to BBC being shown on their national TV
Using those red doors must be quite embarrassing! 'red light district'
Enjoy the pictures, I think I have capture everything there is to do in Amsterdam, although I wasn't aloud any evidence of the cities 'coffee shops'

Will the new Will Smith please stand up...

Not the best Will Smith film, he was hardly in it. Instead the action scenes where left to his son, Jaden, where we are so used to seeing Will perform. Guided by his super star dad through the lost future world of Earth, Jaden has to navigate through the dangerous planet where everything has evolved to kill humans.

Visually stunning, with some very clever use of potential future technology.

Picture from www.hotwallpaperz.com but edited by me in Photoshop.

Jellyfish

Jellyfish

Picture taken with a Samsumg, something or other, was digital, but was pretty shit as well.

Although it has managed to create a stunning shot, with that shinning light echoing back from the flash, to the detailed capture of the little jellyfish swimming around their little bowl.

Is it me or do they look like there swimming around in a washing machine!!

Enjoy the photo....

Battersea Park

26/10/2013

Another meeting in the wonderful backdrop that is Battersea Park, although on this occasion there was a photographer watching their every move....

That's my brother in the orange with one of his clients doing all the work following his instruction. Who knows why you want to pay someone to tell you your doing something wrong!

World War Z

World War Z

01/11/2013

Brad finds the way....

People told me this had no sol, they were not wrong... Thousands and thousands of 'un-dead' chasing the living like their life depended on it. World War Z was certainly not boring like some warned me, it kept me entertained throughout. The intensity in which the living are chased is immense. A great addition to the zombie genre, a differently clever version of a world apocalypse... I would defiantly watch this again. Fantastic.

HP Chromebook 14

HP Chromebook 14

Purchase date, 01/11/2013

The very last one in the shop, the display modal, only paid £175, absolute bargain. Plus this is better powered and bigger then the new more expensive girlie white HP Chromebook 11. The only thing better on it was the retina screen, not that you actually notice a difference anyway.

This machine does exactly what is says on the tin, everything works via Google chrome, even installing what you think is an app basically directs you to its mail website. Having said this, its not trying to be something its not. Everything that you need is on here, word, excel, powerpoint. Just all in a Google web based format. Great little laptop too, very well designed, not heavy not chunky, quite stylish actually, plus its black.

Cant believe I waited nearly four months to buy one, mind you, would I have got it at this price then.....
